Social At Templeogue Tennis Club

Templeogue Tennis Club is known not just good at tennis but also as a vibrant and social club with plenty to offer both on and off the court. The dynamic social committee is keen to provide a variety of events throughout the year to support this tradition. The following events are an example of what is on offer on a regular basis:
- American Tournaments
- Live Music in the bar and function room
- BBQ’s
- Table Quizzes
- Social Tennis: Singles and Doubles
- Seasonal Parties such as Christmas and Mid-Summer
- Televised Soccer & Rugby matches with food in the bar
All events are promoted on the website, via club email, WhatsApp Groups and posters on the notice boards.

We always like to hear from our members and if you have an idea for a social event within Templeogue Tennis Club we would be delighted to hear from you. We would love to hear your idea so make contact the Social Co-Ordinator or a member of the social committee.

Members Club Bar

The bar in Templeogue Tennis Club is an integral part of the club’s social life. The bar is run by members who are volunteers, in fact 98% of the club is run by volunteers which is a further huge success of Templeogue. To be part of this success any member once over 18 can volunteer in the bar. The roster is over a 4-week month so that means doing the bar only 12 times a year. (Don’t worry training is provided)

The club is indebted to the generosity of the volunteers who man the bar roster so faithfully each month.

If you wish to get involved please contact our Bar Manager Peter Kavanagh or the Club Manager Vinny Baston on 01 4902760 who would be more than happy to provide you with all the information you need.

Templeogue Tennis Club Function Room

The club also has a function room for hire. The function room can be hired by members and non-members. (Unfortunately, we cannot take bookings for 18th Birthday Parties)

The function room has a full screen & projector for those important presentations or family movies. You can attach a laptop to our system. Full Support is provided.

Enquires for the Function Room availability please call our Club Manager Vinny Baston 01 4902760

Wine Club

Templeogue Wine Club invites you to join in the fun!

The Templeogue Wine Club was founded with the aim of providing a forum for people with more than a passing interest in wine but who don’t take it all too seriously!
We hold events every 8 weeks approx each year culminating in the annual Christmas food and wine pairing event to close off the year in style. Most events are held in the club function room, at an affordable price, and generally include a light supper.

The events are sociable and fun and provide an opportunity to enjoy quality wines (served in generous tasting measures rather than large glasses) and learn about the different wine regions from our guest speakers. Previous tastings have included wines from Australia, Spain, France, Portugal & Italy and our bubbly tasting evening was a great success!

While the club does not have a commercial agenda, there is occasionally an opportunity to buy wines at a reduced price depending on what the guest speaker can organise.

Templeogue Wine Club welcomes all members of Templeogue Tennis Club, and their guests, to our tasting evenings.

Annual membership (€20) is not obligatory but does entitle members (and their guests) to reduced prices and first option to attend all events.

If you’d like to know more, please contact the Wine Club – ttcwineclub@gmail.com.
